#APicADay 2020: Day 342

 I went to have a test for the Wuhan Coronavirus this morning. Thankfully I was put in the priority line because I was already in the OHSU system, and my wait was only an hour instead of several that the non priority folks were in for. The test was fairly unpleasant, but over quite quickly. I did just receive my results, and I the virus was detected. Which is good to know since I've had minor symptoms for about a week and a half. This has been the equivalent to a typical cold for me. I've been far more sick other times. It wasn't as if I've been engaged in risky behavior either. I do oppose the mask mandates, but I'm not anti-mask, and I wear one when indoors with people I don't usually spend time with. I can only figure I picked it up from my sister, who has been similarly diligent, or when I was producing a video feed of my Stake's conference, and I was in a small room where we do video production with two other men for a couple of hours.

I also got out for a walk.

These little pink flowers have proven good subjects for several months, but they look like they are almost done, now.

Rhododendrons don't often lose their leaves in the fall, but when they do, the results can be interesting.

 I went with the family to the Fernhill Wetlands this afternoon, hoping to get something that would be useable for our Christmas card. We didn't get anything that will work of the whole family, but maybe one of just the kids.

I normally don't post images that include any of us, but The pup is not identifiable here. He simply refused to look at the camera here. It was a cloudy day, so I did need to increase the ISO for some shots.

#APicADay 2020: Day 340

 I went to go for a walk this afternoon, but The pup insisted on going with me, and as soon as he got out the door that became a bike ride, instead of a photo walk. So, when he broke down crying when I didn't go the way he wanted me to, I picked him and the bike up and home we went.

This was at the point where we ended up going back home. Then I didn't have any more opportunities because I had a crying boy in one hand, and a strider bike in the other.

 I promise I took these pictures yesterday. I just got caught up in the drive through Christmas party my local church congregation had last night (our house was supposed to play music for people to stop by and listen to) and I forgot to edit and post them.

I don't know what kind of fly that is, but it's sitting on a rhododendron bud. It was nice of it to just sit there and model for me, though.
