the log of local police activity for this week is about how if you're going to do something to get police attention, it should be for a good reason.

Police contacted a group of teenagers who were seen pushing a shopping cart and yelling at passing traffic along Pacific Avenue. A short investigation revealed that the youths were actually shouting at a friend to get out of traffic.
So, good for those teenagers for trying to do a good thing. Maybe not the best way of doing it, but what do you expect of teenagers?
