I dragged the kids to the park again today. Sadly, for various reasons, we didn't get out the door until after the clouds rolled in and the day was thoroughly overcast.

These cherry leaves really standout against the background of the Japanese maple behind them. I have the ISO bumped up here because of the overcast sky. This allowed me (along with the wide open aperture) to get a quick shutter speed.

I really liked the variety of color these fallen leaves exhibited. I had the aperture stopped down from the previous set of shots, but it allowed me to capture a deeper depth of field. The shorter focal length, and OIS helped me get a sharp shot anyway.

This maple leaf just stood out to me.
