[This aligns with a thought I've been pondering for around a decade now, since I heard someone say about a grossly mistaken person that he was the most sincere person that he knew. I couldn't help but think that it really made no difference. This person's sincerity wasn't at question, but their correctness. Ever since, I have been trying to formulate it as well as I could to express it, and the best I have devised so far is that sincerity is no protection from stupidity.]
