There was sufficient rain that I went back to photographing minerals with artificial lighting again.

This iron pyrite is unusual in that it's crystal structure is not cubic. I struggled to get a good image of this because it is so reflective. The specular highlights make it look less golden than I perceive it to be absent the flashes.
