Forest Grove Police Log excerpt, 1 January 2020

The log of local police activity was not published last week, and there is no published log of their activity from the 13th to the 18th of December. This week's selection is about familial relations.

December 21
A caller reported a man and woman were embroiled in a heated argument inside a vehicle in an apartment complex parking lot late at night. Police arrived and found a father attempting to calm down his child who had enjoyed a sugar-laden treat a little too close to bed time.

I am not sure what the relation is that would cause someone to think the child was a woman, but it could be an adult child with a mental disability, or an adolescent in a poorly lit area. In any event, things would have to be quite heated for me to think I should intervene by calling the police.
