January 21I can understand the rationale for wanting to get permission to refer to the ride-along, even if it isn't something I would consider necessary. But then, I wouldn't think to mention it in the first place.
A woman called police to inquire as to whether or not she would be allowed to refer to her department ride-along twenty years ago during her upcoming performance on America’s Got Talent. Officers attempted to gather more information, but the woman promptly hung up and would not answer when officers attempted a call back.
