There was a brief opportunity to go take a short walk late this afternoon. The weather was good, but the best light had already passed.

I have not seen so many snowdrops all together before. I had some difficulty framing the shot because there is an unsightly utility box just to the left out of frame, and the background is ugly. The open aperture takes care of the background, and the portrait orientation keeps the utility box out of frame.

This plant was begging to be in a square format image, so I shot knowing that I would be applying a square crop to the picture later.
