Forest Grove Police Log excerpt, 28 June 2019

The selection from the log of local police activity this week is all about the advisability of driving while afflicted with poison ivy contact.
June 17
Police received a call that a pickup seen crossing the center and fog lines several times was headed northbound on Highway 47 into town. Officers stopped the driver who had come in contact with poison ivy and was attempting to scratch his legs while driving.
So, maybe if you're itchy from poison ivy, don't drive (and as I understand it, you shouldn't be scratching it anyway.)
