This week's selection from the log of local police activity brings a tale of a spectral clown. Or a hallucination. You know, whichever.

Saturday, Oct. 20A woman reported that a man with clown paint on his face was walking around a residential area and had waved at her son. No one matching the description was found in the area.

I just might report a clown waving at my boy depending on the circumstances. But I can't say for sure.
