Forest Grove Police Log excerpt, 3 July 2019

This week's selection from the log of local police activity is about a pet that escaped containment.
June 24
A caller reported that “Jennifer,” his 5’2” albino California King-snake, escaped overnight, further advising that she was very friendly, loved to give kisses, and was, don’t worry, non-venomous. Jennifer was eventually located and reunited with her grateful owner.
Jennifer seems like an odd choice of name for a snake to me. But what do I know. I'm having a hard time finding a good name for our child that will be born sometime in late November or early December.
