I was able to take a more leisurely walk this evening with just my wife and daughter because my sister stayed with The pup while he was insisting on not going on the walk.

I don't know the flower, but I've seen various colorations of it, and this is one I like more than others.

This is another day lily. The predominant color, at least near me, is yellow, but I like these other ones better.

This purple rose was one of several on the bush, and most of them looked quite nice.
