This is a day lily over at a neighbor's home. I have been noticing this year just how many different kinds of day lilies there are. My bias against them came from assuming the coloration I had seen in them while I lived in Utah was the only variety available.

I don't know what this is, but I saw it in a front yard in a flower bed above a retaining wall.

This gladiola was displaying a variety of bloom stages. I tried to capture the whole spray.

I don't know what kind of flowers these small button like yellow things are.
