#APicADay 2020: Day 312

There was some beautiful light this afternoon, that I had hoped to go take advantage of. However, I was hamstrung by uncertainty, and other responsibilities. So, by the time I was free to go for a walk, the light was gone.

Today's image:

This is a sample of hematite, if my wife's recollection is accurate. It doesn't have much color, but it is dark. So, I put it on some white paper, and zoomed in tight on the subject. I put flash on the paper itself to help it go mostly white. And I lit the subject too.
