I was able to get out for a brief walk today. Though the weather was less than ideal it was far from terrible either. A light mist that kept my hat on, and had me protecting my eyes.

These daisies were in a planter along the path I walked. I was hoping that a particular dogwood tree would be in bloom (and it will be soon, but not today) and when I found it was not, I found these a decent substitute instead.

I do not know what these flowers are. They seem to be related to thistle, but I haven't seen anything else like them before.
