Quote of the Day: 23 May 2020

“Today, it is widely assumed as axiomatic that the government must ‘do something’ when the economy turns down. Very seldom does anyone compare what actually happens when the government does something with what has happened when the government did nothing.” -Thomas Sowell
[How can we let the government do nothing? Surely, we need to let them do something, right?
No. We should be encouraging them to do less than they currently are. Everything the government does, it does badly.]
